Do you walk out your door only to be dumped on by what feels like a giant bucket of water every time it rains? We know that feeling. It doesn’t have to be that way! Rain gutters will capture the rain from your roof and instead of dumping it on you, they will direct the water to a downspout and then down into a drain, retention area (rocks), or landscaping. Not only will channeling the water keep it from pouring on you, it will also avoid run-off water and mud splashes onto your walls, prevent your soffits and fascia from rotting, protect your gardens and walkways, and help to eliminate standing water which could affect your home’s foundation (this is definitely something you want to avoid, foundation repair is costly!). There are so many benefits to installing new or replacement rain gutters at your home. Call us today to find out all about it, we love to talk gutters!

We install all new gutters around the home and downspouts in thoughtful locations (we try to avoid high traffic and high visibility areas – unless that’s where you want them). There are many downspout options, traditional to artistic, whatever look and feel that complements your house’s architecture and your own personal style. You can also mix and match colors if you have fascia boards that are one color for the rain gutters and a wall that’s another color for the downspouts. Or even two different colored walls.
Do you already have rain gutters but they are damaged or (well, let’s just cut to the chase) ugly? We can fix certain damage and if it’s not possible to repair, then we can replace sections with matching gutters. If the damage is extensive (or it’s the appearance factor), we can take it all down and put up new gutters and downspouts. In addition to restoring gutters, we also repair damaged fascia. It doesn’t do any good to have brand new gutters if they are installed onto rotting fascia that will eventually end up capturing the water first.
Are there a lot of trees on our property? Or on your neighbor’s property that drop leaves onto yours? Have no fear, leaf guards (also called gutter guards) are here. The covers we carry are high quality and affordable. These are a great option for foliage dense properties, they’ll keep the leaves and large debris out of your rain gutters, rain will still enter, it’s genius! They’ll actually keep out ice as well but, hey, we don’t have that problem in Vista. Clogged gutters can not only make water spill over the sides of the gutters (which defeats the purpose), they can also cause damage to the gutter itself or to the drain system it’s emptying into.
We know it can be difficult to keep your gutters clean. Not everyone has a tall ladder, after all. Let us do it for you! Keeping your rain gutters clean will keep the water moving in the right direction and avoid spilling over the gutter edges, causing issues. If they tend to need cleaning often, you may want to consider gutter guards (see the paragraph right above this one).

We know we said we offer lots of options, but you’re wondering what kind of options could there be with gutters? Aren’t they just some type of metal trough like the Romans built to transport drinking water to cities way back when? Except they mistakenly used lead, oops. We offer mostly aluminum but copper, galvanized steel, and wood (yes, wood) too. What styles, you ask? K-style (standard and oversize), S-line (standard and oversize), and half-round. There are also a lot of colors to choose from and if you want to get really custom, you can always paint them. We have color samples available.
If you are a do-it-yourselfer, we get that too. Home Depot rain gutters are available, and they offer some good options. If you’re not a do-it-yourselfer and you don’t like having buckets of rainwater dumped on you, then call us! We would be thrilled to install your new or replacement rain gutters and downspouts. We provide free estimates (did we already mention that?).
